All of us want to matter: to enjoy loving relationships, to find meaningful work, and to lead fully authentic lives. Ironically, it is often through times of painful confusion and brokenness that God reveals himself more fully and deeply to us. God meets us at any stage of our faith journey, and pursues us relentlessly.

At Charleswood Community Church, we have experienced God's joy and blessings in both light and dark times. We believe that he has given us a loving and grace-filled community-this local church-to be the greenhouse in which character is cultivated, painful circumstances are shared, and life's joys are celebrated.

At the heart of the gospel of Jesus is the news that the cross is not only the hinge of history, but the means through which our lives are transformed and we are set free. As followers of the risen Jesus, we are now called to share this good news of abundant new life with our family, friends, and neighbors.

Since our founding in 1978, we have found that our communities of influence have extended far beyond Winnipeg. And yet, as God planted us here on Charleswood Road in 1990, we have felt God's call to increasingly invest ourselves in this local neighborhood.
