Missionaries
“You
will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and
to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
Dave
& Coleen Christmas serve the Lord in Calgary as evangelistic
disciple-makers through a film-production project and street/prison
ministries among aboriginal people.
Peter
and Mary Clift have been living and serving in Japan for about 40
years. They started one new assembly (Ikuta) in the Tokyo area, and
then moved in 1994 to rural Iiyama to try to start the Iiyama Bible
Center Christ Assembly. It's a very slow process. They reach out
through men's and women's Bible studies, teaching English, children's
clubs, Men's Breakfasts, Emmaus Bible Correspondence courses,
volunteer work, and personal contacts.
Brad
& Catherine Dickson have worked in the country of France
over 20 years. Brad grew up in Saskatchewan and met Catherine in
France when he was there on a 2 year mission trip. Both attended
Providence Seminary and chose to return to France and work there
sharing through church-planting and teaching in the Bible school as
well as working with families in parenting and family issues.
Denis
& Vickie LaClare have been working with Power to Change
(formerly Campus Crusade) in many different capacities. Denis is
presently the Director of Ministry Effectiveness & Leadership
Development and Vickie works alongside in teaching missionaries how
to acquire language. They both continue to equip students and staff
in language and culture learning for ministry fruitfulness. Check out
their website at www.laclare.cccministry.org
David
& Rose Prince serve in the country of Spain through personal
evangelism, Bible studies and sports contacts. Many people from other
countries are now making Spain their home and bringing with them
other lifestyles and family values. This is a challenge as David and
Rose continue to reach out to the Spaniards and to others.
Kevin
and Brenda Ronald work with Avant Ministries in the
country of Mali, West Africa. Kevin works alongside others as he
maintains all of the equipment and keeps the printing press going.
Doug
and Phyllis, Philippines Wycliffe Bible Translators Presently
living in BC. Doug is teaching at Canadian Institute of Linguistics,
Wycliffe's Canadian training centre where more than 100 students from
Canada, US, Europe and Asia are studying to do Bible translation,
language survey, adult literacy and Scripture promotion. Phyllis
is continuing work on a Bible translation for the Muslim people
group with whom they lived for 12 years.
Carl
& Pat Whitehead work with Wycliffe translators and are
working on completing the whole Bible into the Menya language for the
people in Papua New Guinea.
Rick
and Elizabeth Greer of Pathway Camp Ministries have recently
joined our missionary family. Pathway

Services of Abbotsford B.C. Information is available at
