ACC Small Groups
WHAT IS A SMALL GROUP?
A Small Group is a meeting together of three to twelve people
on a regular basis, with the express purpose of encouraging one another in our spiritual journey.
WHAT DOES A SMALL GROUP DO?
Nurture Each Other
Developing an in-depth spiritual community as we discover Biblical truths for daily living
Encourage Each Other
Providing stability and support for one another
Disciple Each Other
Challenging each other in spiritual growth, prayer, bible study and outreach
WHY IS ACC COMMITTED TO SMALL GROUPS?
Small Groups provide the optimum care for anyone entering into the life of the church.
Small Groups offer the needed encouragement and support for one another.
Small Groups provide an excellent means of sharing the claims and love of Jesus Christ.
Small Groups provide the most effective means of carrying out the Biblical directives given to the church to:
- Love one another
- Care for one another
- Bear one another's burdens
- Stimulate one another to love and good deeds
- Encourage one another
WHICH GROUP SHOULD I ATTEND
At ACC we offer a variety of Small Groups. These include:
Small Group Bible Studies
Meeting in various locations on a regular basis for bible study and prayer
Young Adult Small Groups
Small groups geared for the needs of young adults
Women's Groups
Ladies Time Out: meets Wednesday mornings at the church. Childcare provided
Women's Bible Study Group:
Meets weekly for study and prayer
Men's Prayer Breakfast
Meets Wednesday mornings
Tuesday night prayer
Held in the Prayer Room behind the Sanctuary.
Alpha (normally beginning in January, for 10 weeks)
Followed by Post-Alpha Bible Studies
