The Purpose of ACC
Why We Exist

We believe that our main purpose as individuals and as a community of believers is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. This invlolves five indespensable ingredients:

1. Exalting: To EXALT Christ as a community through praise and worship
2. Edifying: To EDIFY believers by instruction in God's Word
3. Equipping: To EQUIP people for ministry by providing opportunities for service in the church and in the world
4. Evangelizing: To EVANGELIZE people, locally and around the world, by the personal and public proclamation of the Gospel, and the sending and support of Christian workers.
5. Expressing: To EXPRESS Christ's love by caring fellowship in the church and social concern for the world.

The Core Values of ACC
What We Value

We at ACC believe that the Bible is our final authority in Christian faith and life. However, from the beginning of ACC there have been some common vlaues that have unified our efforts and defined our distinctives. They are as follows:

1. We believe that consecutive and relevant teaching from the Bible is able to transform the lives of individuals and the church.
2. We believe that marriages and familes are important to God and that helping people regarding their family relationships is a primary concern.
3. We believe that youth and children should be active participants in the life and worship of the local church.
4. We believe that God calls every believer to be a member of a local church; to gather together for worship and teaching but then to go into the surrounding community to work, to witness and to serve.
5. We believe in communicating the Gospel to people through friendship evangelism by:
   • maintaining positive relationships with friends and neighbours;
   • welcoming friends and neighbours at social events planned by our church family
   • sharing the Gospel of God's love individually and corporately.

Statement of Faith
What We Believe

• The Bible is God's inspired, trustworthy, and authoritative Word.
• There is one God, eternally existing in three persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
• Jesus Christ is the unique Son of God. He was born of a virgin and became the God-Man. He lived a perfect and sinless life.
• In the great plan of God, Jesus Christ died on the Cross on our behalf to save us from sin. He arose physically from the dead and ascended to heaven as Lord of us all.
• The Holy Spirit was sent to live in God's people to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and empower the believer for godly living and service.
• All people are sinners and need salvation. A person is saved and receives eternal life through accepting Jesus Christ as Saviour by faith.
• All believers are part of the body of Christ, the church. The church meets together to worship God, to grow in faith, and to serve on another in a community of love.
• All believers are called to bear witness to the Lord Jesus Christ in all the world through their words, character, conduct and service.
